Kevin Waters

Kevin Waters is a distinguished former college basketball player whose journey through the world of sports spans multiple roles and significant achievements. He graduated from Edward Waters University, where he displayed exceptional talent on the basketball court, earning recognition for his athletic prowess and leadership skills. Seeking to deepen his understanding of the sports industry, Kevin pursued a Master's in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University, equipping himself with the knowledge and expertise to excel in sports management.

Kevin's coaching career began when he became the General Manager and Head Coach of the Jacksonville Bluewaves. His innovative strategies and commitment to player development led the team to greater heights and established him as a respected figure in the local sports community. This success continued as he transitioned to become the General Manager and Head Coach of the Jacksonville Giants, where he further honed his coaching style and leadership capabilities.

Following his stints in Jacksonville, Kevin joined Wilberforce University as the Associate Athletic Director and Head Men's Basketball Coach. Here, he played a pivotal role in revitalizing the basketball program, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and academic success among his athletes.

Kevin's vision and passion for athletics soon led him to Miami Sports Academy and Jack's Athletic Academy, where he served as the Vice President of Athletics. In this role, he implemented comprehensive athletic programs and initiatives aimed at fostering young talent and promoting sportsmanship.

Expanding his horizons, Kevin then took on the role of Vice President of Basketball Operations and Head Coach for the Fort Lauderdale Herd. His expertise in player development and team dynamics contributed significantly to the team's achievements during his tenure.

In a remarkable leap into entrepreneurship, Kevin became the Team Owner and CEO of the Jacksonville 95ers, a member of The Basketball League (TBL). His vision for the team focuses on creating a competitive and community-oriented environment that nurtures local talent while fostering a love for the game. Under his leadership, the 95ers aim to make a lasting impact both on and off the court.
