Victoria Crawford

Victoria Crawford, who hails from Birmingham, Alabama is currently the women's basketball coach at Fisk University. Before her appointment at Fisk, Crawford served as the head coach at Lincoln College in Illinois. Her coaching journey also includes significant contributions at Lawson State Community College in Birmingham and a vital role as an assistant coach at Southern Mississippi University during the 2017-2018 season. Before transcending into her coaching career, Victoria spent five successful seasons as the associate head coach at Miles College, where she helped develop young talent and foster a formidable team environment.

Crawford's playing career was marked by excellence and achievement. A standout in high school, she led the state of Alabama in scoring during her senior year, averaging an impressive 27 points per game, which earned her a scholarship to the University of Memphis. While at Memphis, Crawford made a significant impact on the program, receiving the Conference USA Sixth Player of the Year award in 2004 and setting the school’s single season steals record.

After her collegiate success, she pursued a professional career, playing overseas from 2005 to 2010 and participating in several WNBA camps, which highlighted her talent and dedication to the game. Crawford's experience as a professional athlete allows her to understand the nuances of the game from a player's perspective, enriching her coaching approach.
