Standing tall at 6'6", Mario Williams is a talented and dedicated basketball player with a compelling career story. A product of Golda Meir High School, Mario’s basketball journey took shape early on, earning all-team First Conference honors for three consecutive years and being named Player of the Year once. His impressive scoring ability has seen him surpass 1,000 career points, showcasing his scorer's instinct and versatility.

Mario’s athletic career was briefly impacted by Covid-19, which prevented him from playing during his time at Sauk Valley Community College. However, his resilience and passion for the game propelled him to international experiences in Cape Verde, where he averaged 20 points, 6 assists, and 7 rebounds per game, making a significant impact on the court.

Beyond his successful stints overseas, Mario has gained attention from major leagues through G-League workouts with Cleveland Charge, Austin Spurs, Orlando Magic, and the Iowa Wolves. His talent and determination caught the eye of scouts, culminating in his selection as the 3rd overall pick in the 2025 TBL Draft by the Raleigh Firebirds.
