LaMonica Plater is a 5’10” guard/forward from Shreveport, Louisiana. She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 2018, then matriculated to Xavier University of Louisiana, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree before obtaining her MS in Sports Administration. As a versatile two-way player, she recently competed overseas in North Macedonia, Europe with Pro Basket Academy, averaging 15.2 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3.8 steals per game. 

​Hailing from Buffalo, NY, Nia is a dynamic 5’10 guard/forward with a passion for the game. From leading Tapestry Charter School in points and earning All-WNY 4th Team honors all four years, to making waves at Baltimore City Community College and Bryant & Stratton College, her journey has been nothing short of impressive. During her ‘21-‘22 season, she earned First-Team All-Conference, Defensive Player of the Year, and Second-Team All-American honors in the USCAA.
